December 2nd, 2008

Issue 13 goes live today! Servers will be down from 6am - 11am cst or until the patching is complete!

In conjunction with the changes for the new release, the majority of the esf base has been removed. The base will be rebuilt over the next few days to take advantage of the lower construction costs, thereby giving us additional prestige to make a better base for our members! Please excuse the mess while we rebuild!

The Christmas Event is scheduled to start on December 15th, so stay tuned for more information! The Ski Slopes in Pocket D should be opening soon with lots of fun and events for everyone!

July 22nd, 2008

After a long break from City of Heroes, we have come back to help Paragon City! ESF has done well in our absence, and it's good to be back! Updates will be done to the website as there is time, so check back to see what's happening!

January 22nd, 2007

The Christmas Event has officially ended, but fear not, for this weekend we'll see the Double-XP Event return! Starting this Friday through this Sunday, the double-xp weekend will be back! So, if you have a character or set of characters you're trying to get to the magic 5-0, now is your big chance!

For those of you with access to the Test Server, you might be interested in seeing some of the great changes coming up in the near future! See the official forum thread here!

There will be tons of events due to the double-xp weekend event! Many of these are unplanned, but will be announced in Guns or Coalition Chat! Be sure to check both channels for listings on events and times!

January 17th, 2007

The Christmas Event has gone into overtime! There hasn't been an official announcement by the Devs as to the reason why, but the presents, items, and missions from the event are still going! If you need any of them for your heroes, now is the time!

There has been a big announcement from the Devs concerning base rent and sweeping changes across the board! Power fixes, base rent based on plot size, and a ton of other changes are coming soon! See the official forum thread here!

As we hit midpoint of the week, we're starting to turn our focus towards plans for this weekend! Starting Saturday January 20th, we will be running a series of task forces and extended mission groups to generate more prestige and help push us further up the Top 100 list! This week's events include Positron and Sister Psyche! More events to be announced, so check coalition chat for times and info!

January 16th, 2007

The Christmas Event has officially ended, but we have over 200 presents currently in base storage! There have been a lot of request by heroes and villains alike to keep the Chalet open, so we may have a year-round ski lodge!

This weekend was a series of successful Task Forces and special missions! We successfully moved to the number 99 spot in the top 100 Super Groups on Infinity! From here, we will attempt to bump out some of the other groups and move further up the list! A big thanks to everyone who helped make this a very successful weekend!

Today, Earth Special Forces realizes a dream and sees it come to it's fruition as we now have all 20 waypoints for our base teleporters! This means that every zone on the hero side is now accessible from a single super group base! The expansion completes the efforts of a year of work by the many dedicated heroes in our group - this could not be done without all your help - thanks again!

January 11th, 2007

Well, we have some great news to announce! For those of you with the flair for villainy and the desire to role-play your villains, we have now established our first role-playing super group on Virtue! Strike Force Alpha is now up and running, so if you're interested, let us know for an invite!

We have some great news for Earth Special Forces! As of tonight, we are 101 on the list of top super groups for prestige! We are just 23k prestige away from making the top 100, so this weekend, we will be focusing on task forces and other events to help push us past that goal and make the list!

And finally, we would like to congratulate Ms. Mouse on her first level 50 on Infinity! Way to go, Mouse!

January 8th, 2007

Today marks the restart of the Christmas Event! For a limited time starting today, the event will be back for the rest of the week! So... if you missed any of the badges from the event the first time, this is your big chance to get them!

As a result, we will be focusing on last-minute badge and temp powers! Teams will be announced on the spur of the moment, so be sure to check coalition chat for information on times and teams!

We may be branching out to Virtue again with the revival of the Alternate Earth villain group! After a very long sabbatical from playing a villain, the urge has struck again! Since we haven't been able to find a suitable super group on the villain side, plans are to start a new group in the next day or two! Membership will be open to any Guns member on Virtue!

January 6th, 2007

Just when you thought the Christmas Event was over, the Devs decide to bring it back for another run! For a limited time starting this Monday, December 8th, the Winter Event will be back for seven days! So... if you missed any of the badges from the event the first time, this is your big chance to get them!

This weekends events will include the Fortune Teller, Sister Psyche, and Manticore task forces! Times have not been set for the events, so be sure to check Coalition Chat for times!

Base development continues as we push to add another two teleporter rooms to the base! This next push will bring the base up to 20 zones! The updates should be complete before the end of the month!

January 4th, 2007

Well, the Christmas Event is officially over - ending sometime yesterday. We have a store of over 200 presents in base storage and some pretty cool memories of a great event! We've managed to figure out what each present does, based on it's position in storage:

Gift of Experience
Gift of Power
Gift of Life
Gift of Energy
Gift of Defense
Lump of Coal (removed)

It's hard to believe, but it's already Thursday! We're lining up events for this weekend, including the Fortune Teller, Sister Psyche, and Manticore task forces, so be sure to check Coalition Chat for times! Other events may follow, so check back for updates!

We are sorry to see the Winter Event go, but fear not... Valentines Day is just around the corner! There hasn't been anything officially released by the Devs concerning the event, but you can bet there will be something coming up next month to celebrate it! More news as it becomes available!

December 31st, 2006

As the last day of 2006 arrives, we're happy to say we've had a very good year as Earth Special Forces! Major events included two base upgrades, our first group of level 50 heroes, and finally, the robo-surgery for the base!

This weekend has been packed with events! A Positron task force, three runs at the Synapse task force, Sister Psyche, and the Moonfire task force are just some of the events that took place this weekend! We've had a great turnout of members and everyone had a great time!

This has been a great year for the Coalition! New coalition members have been added, and the list of members continues to grow! The base upgrades and all the advancements we've made would not be possible without the continued efforts of all our members. A big thanks to everyone who helped make 2006 a year to remember - we couldn't have done it without you!

December 28th, 2006

Service connection issues have forced our internet service provider to change our static ip for the Teamspeak Server again. The new ip is 74.135.214.9 and has been updated on the tech support page as well.

It's been a long, hard road, but we're happy to announce that we have officially earned the 2nd super group heal badge! Robo-surgery has been added to the medical bay, increasing heals from 25% to 45%! A big thanks to everyone who helped us to reach this goal!

Along with the medical upgrade, the base has undergone another change. We have upgraded the plot, added another teleporter room, and moved two teleporters into the new section. Next upgrades will be two more teleporters, four zones, and a raid teleporter!

These latest upgrades have put a serious strain on our finances, so to help fund the upgrades to the base, we're going to be hosting task forces and extended mission groups through this weekend! Check coalition chat for times!

December 25th, 2006

Merry Christmas everyone! From all of us here at Earth Special Forces, we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Despite the holiday, some of us die-hard heroes decided to help Positron yesterday with a Task Force! The mission consisted of members from our coalition and was successful after five hours! A big thanks to all those who helped the task force be a total success!

Today marks the beginning of the last week for the Christmas Event! Teams have been running and we've nearly filled two inspiration bins in the base full of presents! The base has undergone some minor changes to accommodate the additional storage. The two bins on either side of the work room have been reserved for presents. Again, thanks to everyone who helped us collect so many!

December 19th, 2006

This last weekend was a buzz with Task Force runs! Rabid Monkey from Guns hosted the 2nd Task Force in the Shadow Shard successfully! Other teams included many runs in the Chalet for badges and temporary powers!

Yesterday started the second phase of the Christmas Event! Now there are presents scattered across Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, but watch out! Each present can give you an unknown gift, a cool temporary power, or a bunch of the Winter Lord's minions to fight with! Teams will be running from now until the end of the event, so check Coalition Chat for more information!

The second Inspiration Collector in the base has officially been reserved to hold presents! There are four types of unknown presents, but the storage bin knows how to arrange them! If you have extras you want to save, the collector has been reserved just for that purpose! Enjoy!

December 15th, 2006

Have you updated your Direct-X drivers? Microsoft had a new release today for all windows-based platforms! Be sure to update yours - click here to be directed to the download site!

Events planned for this weekend include several of the 40+ level Shadow Shard Task Forces! Rabid Monkey has opened up a thread on the Guns of Paragon boards to discuss dates and times. You can check the thread here or see coalition chat for more information!

If you're asking "Where are the Presents?", then you're not alone! Fear not, the presents will be arriving this next Monday (12/18/06) after server maintenance has run! In preparation, we have reserved the second Inspiration Collector in the base to hold presents!

December 14th, 2006

Today marks the beginning of the Christmas Event! Starting today through the first week of January, the event is now live! Go skiing in the Chalet, visit Father Time and run missions to earn costume pieces or special temp powers, or go around Paragon City and collect presents! Enjoy!

The Teamspeak Server has been repaired. A bad video card was the culprit and service has been restored! Thanks for being patient during the repairs!

This weekend will mark the beginning of the Christmas Event! As such, there will be a series of missions run in the Chalet for Father Time! As the events are not planned, please see Guns and Coalition Chat for information concerning start times and levels!

December 12th, 2006

Due to hardware problems, the Teamspeak Server will be offline for a few days or until we figure out what exactly died... another announcement will be made once service has been restored.

Work on the new Virtue base has come a long way. The Paragon Knighthood has two fully functional teleporters with 4 waypoints, a working medical bay, and all the amenities you would expect from a smaller base! A big thanks to everyone who helped us get this far with the construction!

Still no release on the Christmas Event yet, but the way things are looking, the earliest the patch will release is this Friday. The patch for today was to correct stability issues, but we're still seeing plenty of disconnects, map server errors, and other problems.

We would also like to take this time to welcome another Coalition member to the group! The Paragon Pirates have joined ranks with Earth Special Forces! The group is a pilot for Shiro Lite as she tries her hand at base construction!

December 8th, 2006

Well, server maintenance was today, but the Christmas Event did not go live as we had heard. Still, we have big plans for this weekend! Mission groups include more runs in Overbrook to complete the new story arc, Sister Psyche, and Citadel. Times are not set, so be sure to check Coalition Chat for events!

Plans for the next expansion of the Earth Special Forces base are being made for the expansion of our teleporters and the Raid Teleporter. A roll-back in the number of waypoints attached to each teleporter forced an alteration in the original base design. Our next plans include upgrading to the next plot size and adding four more 2-bay teleporter rooms, giving us 12 waypoints total!

We would also like to take this time to welcome another Gun Member to the frozen state of Illinois! Shaela has made the trip from sunny Florida to Illinois for a short visit, so welcome to our winter wonderland!

The badge indicator for the Super Group Healing badge is broke, but we have to be very, very close now! Thanks to everyone who has helped us plug away at the badge! As soon as we get it, robo-surgery will be added to medical, bringing the healing potential up to 45%. With luck, we may have the badge by Sunday...

December 7th, 2006

A new site improvement has been added - support for browsers other than internet explorer! Now you can experience the sounds and music on this site with firefox or other browsers!

Christmas is just two and a half weeks away! The devs have been working on the final touches to the Christmas Event, so the release could come at any time! The servers are currently down for maintenance, so this could be the day!

There are a few bugs with the new release of Issue 8. The Faultline teleporter in the base will take you to an old instance of Faultline and then boot you to Atlas after a few seconds.

Also, when using the base hospital from Faultline, you will get stuck inside the doughnut shop. Trapped heroes must either use the Pocket D pass or be teleported out by someone. These issues are being worked on and my be released with the Christmas Event.

December 4th, 2006

Christmas Time is Here! At least on the Test Server! Be sure to check out the new Ski Lodge in Pocket D! Along with the regular Winter Lord event and all the  presents, there are new missions, new Winter Landscapes, and a host of temp powers & costume pieces!

With the change in the weather, the site has had a few updates to help ring in the holiday cheer! Included is a background from the new Christmas Event currently running on Test. The new winter landscapes are an incredible change to the game and help make winter actually feel like a part of Paragon City!

Most of our runs this weekend included all of the Faultline Arc. One of the other interesting things about this new zone is Yin's Market. During the arc, if you save her father, he will allow you access to his shop. There, he will sell you one specific type of specialty SO based on your origin. These are:

Mutant and Natural - Level 13,17, and 21 Damage

Magic - Level 13,17, and 21 Accuracy
Science - Level 13,17, and 21 Endurance Reduction

Technology - Level 13,17, and 21 Recharge Rate

While these special enhancements can't be sold anywhere, they are very useful for lower-level heroes! Only people who have rescued her father are able to enter the shop. Anyone else will be kicked out (using recall friend) of the store.

The Police Scanner missions were another strong point this weekend. Many of us ran the missions to get cool temporary powers, such as the Zero-G Jump Pack and the Raptor Pack. All in all, it was a great weekend! Thanks to everyone who joined us!

November 28th, 2006

Issue 8 has gone live! The servers were down for a not-so extended maintenance today, and when they came back up, Issue 8 was in full effect! This means that all sorts of tailoring add-ons, the new Overbrook (previously Faultline), police scanners, and veteran rewards are abounding!

The Trains have been completely fixed and there are numerous add-ons to the game! The downside is that Icon is like a Hami Raid, where there are 200 users in a store trying to get wings or trench coats, but... this is promising to be one of the best releases yet! Go forth and enjoy!

Now that Issue 8 has been released, we're looking to get some lower-level teams together to explore the new Overbrook zone this Saturday! Our group on Virtue will be running in teams this weekend, and I'm sure we'll organize something for Infinity as well! Check Coalition Chat for more information on teams and times!

Last but not least, because of the zone changes and all the updates, you'll want to update your map patch with the newest release! This patch covers the new zone updates for Overbrook as well as badge changes! Get yours today!

November 27th, 2006

There has been all sorts of talk from the Devs for a "post-release" of Issue 8 and the servers were brought down at their regular time, but nothing happened after the maintenance schedule today. Talk on the boards heavily speculates that the patch should be pushed sometime before the end of the week!

With the base reconstruction complete on Infinity, some of our group has shifted it's attention to Virtue to help the progress with the base in our alternate group, The Paragon Knighthood. When the new issue finally does roll, the center teleporters in the Infinity base will be replaced with a raid teleporter for Citadel of Pain runs.

It was a great 4-day weekend! There were several runs of the Sister Psyche task force, as well as many groups from the Guns Coalition! Thanks to everyone who helped make this a great weekend!

We're also looking for events for this upcoming weekend! If you have an event that you would like to host, let us know so we can get it posted! Scheduled events for this coming weekend include the Fortune Teller mission on Virtue and the Sister Psyche Task Force on Infinity! Depending on Issue 8's release, our schedule may change, so check Coalition Chat for details!

November 22nd, 2006

Issue 8 is fixed and ready to roll! The last few items - respec, and object orientation in the bases has been repaired! This means that Issue 8 could roll at any time, though it is still unknown if it will be released before the holiday!

The Synapse Task Force on Virtue was brutal, but successful! A big thanks to all the members who joined us for the event! More events will be going on this extended weekend, so be sure to check Guns chat for times!

Base construction for Earth Special Forces has begun! The base is now about 85% complete, with mostly detail work to be completed. The teleporters are currently setup for Issue 8, so not all zones are available. Base updates include a Raid Teleporter, Mission Computer, and a Vault for Items of Power. Base construction should be complete by later this evening.

November 19th, 2006

More news on Issue 8 - The respec being the only failing to it's release, there is talk that the newest installment for City of Heroes could be released to the live servers by as early as this Tuesday. There has been talk that the new issue should be released before Thanksgiving, but these reports are as yet unconfirmed.

A big gratz to the Guns team running a particularly brutal installment of the Posi task force! The group kicked off last week, and by mission 2 of 17, some of the group had already reached maximum debt. The group resumed the task force Saturday night and completed it successfully - way to go!

Base reconstruction will begin for ESF ahead of schedule! The base revamp will begin on Tuesday after server maintenance and will take approximately 4-6 hours to complete. Some of the base services will be unavailable during the construction, so we apologize in advance for the interruptions.

November 14th, 2006

Well, they're getting closer to having Issue 8 ready to roll. Base teleporters are fixed, but it again rotates object orientation in the base to another angle, so if they release it at this stage, major base reworks will be required to correct some of the glitches it produces. Other than that, the only thing still broke is the respecs.

Do you enjoy role-playing? If so, we have some great news! A group of Guns members have started a group on Virtue. The Knights of Paragon have been formed, having a working base with medical and limited teleporters. If you are interested in giving role-playing in this game a shot, see one of us today for your invite to the group!

Events planned for this weekend include the Fortune Teller mission on Virtue, as well as Citadel and the Lady Psyche Task Forces on Infinity! The current events are planned for this Saturday with an open start time, so be sure to check Coalition chat for more information!

November 9th, 2006

Development of the new Earth Special Forces base is underway on the test server! The name of the super group is "Alternate Earth" - so if you would like to check out the base as it develops, please ask us for an invite!

While Issue 8 promises to be a very solid issue for City of Heroes, the test release is still plagued with problems. To date, we have logged the following issues as bug reports:

Base portals are broke. You can't bind any beacons to them.
Respec of any type are also broke - "Respec Failed" is the message.
Serious memory leak with the base editor, you must reboot to fix.
Object orientation in existing bases place objects in walls & floors.
Looping "Base Item" glitch when you accept this veteran reward.
Base prestige for new groups is 0 instead of 36 million to start.
Wings are only functional with flight power - nothing else. (gripe)
Items of Power have been removed from the Test Server.

The last issue may well go hand-in-hand with why they shut down the Cathedral of Pain, but they used to be available to place in a Vault for testing. The wings functionality issue was a grip reported by other players that there isn't any animations on them when using super jump, or hovering between teleports.

November 7th, 2006

The Veteran Rewards are available on the Test Server, and man are they sweet!!! Many new costume changes, as well as the rebuilding of Overbrook, plus all the rewards program up to 3 years is now available! This is something you have got to check out!

A website link between the Guns of Paragon and Earth Special Forces is now two-way! We are still working on a way to cross the picture gallery information along with other ideas that we're tossing around. Changes will be coming to this site to reflect the coalition between our group and the rest of the Guns of Paragon!

The latest update is that we are now at 22.8 million points healed in our pursuit of the Super Group base upgrade! This second upgrade will allow us to add the Robo Surgeons to the base, bringing recovery in the medical pods up from 25% to 45% - The next upgrade will take a considerable amount of time, but we're working out the details to snag the last of the medical upgrades over the next month! Stay tuned for more information!

November 3rd, 2006

Now that the Halloween Event is officially over, we're gearing up this weekend for a series of badge missions and task forces! This Saturday's events include the Frontline Badge, Doctor's Ally Badge, and the Manticore task force! The events will be announced in Guns chat as well as Coalition chat prior to the event and space is limited! Hope to see you there!

Still have Halloween Salvage? Keep it handy! The contacts for the Halloween event will become permanent residents once Issue 8 has been released! The additional costume sets will be awarded to members who need the additional slot for their character. As we are collecting it, if you wish to sell or donate it, please contact a super group leader! Thanks!

In preparation for the release of Issue 8, we have begun efforts to upgrade items in the super group base. One such item is the Robo Surgeons. These will increase the regeneration amounts when you use the base medical from 25% to 45%. Efforts will continue this next week to procure the final medical upgrade for the base, though it will probably take a few weeks to earn the badge.

November 1st, 2006

On a sad note, the Halloween Event officially ended today and the sun has returned to Paragon City. Our hats are off to one of the best events that we've experienced since the double-xp weekend. :)

Note to self: Offering free costume pieces in Atlas is like pouring a chum bucket into a pool of rabid piranhas. We went through over 40 complete sets in less than 30 minutes, but many heroes were able to get the pieces they needed before the event finished. Remaining sets will be placed back in the base storage for use later or by other members before the contact in Croatoa leaves.

Excitement is building as the pre-release of Issue 8: Protect and Serve begins it's downloads today as you exit the game! This means that it should be a very short time before the episode makes it's final release! The newly remodeled zone, previously known as Faultline, is a crown in the list of changes that are being made!

October 31st, 2006

Happy Halloween everyone! Today marks the final day for the Trick or Treat event in Paragon City, so if you have a need for costume salvage, please help yourself to base storage and get your extra outfit now!

To celebrate the holiday, Earth Special Forces will be passing out free sets of costume salvage to everyone in Atlas tonight starting around 11pm! Supplies are limited, so bring your alts and say hello!

The latest set of upgrades to the Guns of Paragon base are complete! The remodel includes 8 teleport pods with 8 hazard zone waypoints and 8 PvE zone waypoints! Other updates include an enhancement and inspiration storage chambers, 3 vaults for Items of Power, and minor changes to some of the decor!

October 30th, 2006

Issue 8 has been on the Test server for a few weeks now, and there has been a lot of speculation about it's release date being on or around the beginning of November! You can read about Issue 8 and it's planned release date here!

Positron speaks out! Matt "Positron" Miller, lead programmer for Cryptic, did an interview with World of Roleplayers Radio dealing with the new Good vs. Evil release. The event has been recorded and is available here as a streaming internet download. Topics discussed include upcoming changes in Issue 8 and the Veteran rewards system, so give it a listen!

One event that we're planning on running tonight is the Frontline Badge mission on Infinity. The badge mission is open to any Guns member around level 40 or as side kick availability permits. The event should run tonight starting around 11pm, so be sure to check Coalition Chat for more information!

October 29th, 2006

The Legendary Guns of Paragon now have a newly designed and fully functional base! If you're one of the members of this or one of our Coalition groups, stop by and check out the new base!

The Sunday Red Alert team for tonight will be starting at it's regular time - We have space on the team for one more member, currently around level 11. The team meets weekly on Sunday nights, so if you're interested, please see coalition chat for more information!

A big thanks to all the Guns members who went on the Katie Hannon and Eden Trials with us this weekend! Both events were a resounding success and everyone had a great time!

The Halloween Event ends on November 1st, so if you still need to work on the event badges or your costumes, please check coalition chat for trick or treat teams! Most coalition bases have plenty of costume salvage, so if you still need the salvage for the extra slot, please let us know!

October 27th, 2006

This weekend kicks off the last part of the Halloween Event! If you still haven't got your free costume slot, the base storage has roughly 35 complete sets for members in need, so please help yourself!

This weekend's events include more Trick-or-Treat groups of various levels! If you need a team, please see Guns Chat or Coalition Chat for more information and times! No task forces or events other than the regular Sunday red alert team are planned due to the event.

Do you play on Freedom Server and not have a super group? Need a place to park your inactive or somewhat inactive heroes? The Freedom base now has a small, but fully functional, super group base open to all it's members! The base includes everything except medical, and even has two working teleporters with four waypoints! Freedom Coalition members include:

Ground Zero
Prodigy
Santa's Helpers
The Sand Crawler

Coalition members on Freedom also have teleporters to additional zones and auto-doc facilities available to all members of Earth Special Forces. Let us know if you have anyone who needs a place to call home and we'll be glad to bring you onboard!

October 24th, 2006

This last weekends events were excellent! Many Guns teams as well as hoards of pick-up group teams helped the majority of us get the Halloween badges for our heroes and villains! All in all, it was an awesome weekend - a big thanks to everyone for making this last weekend a great success!

Our parent super group, the Guns of Paragon, has had some website changes, including a feed from the gallery and an IRC interface to keep in touch with other members currently involved in ddo, wow, and other mmorpgs. Be sure to check it out when you get a minute!

One of the discussed changes between Earth Special Forces and the Guns of Paragon, is the combination of picture gallery photos in a cross-feed between sites. This would allow the library of pictures that both site have to be shared between them and to be displayed on both sites simultaneously! The site feed is already function on our parent site. As soon as we figure out where to put the feed here, we'll be adding it to this site as well!

October 20th, 2006

The Halloween Event is in full swing! To kick the weekend off, we will be making runs called "GMT" (Giant Monster Teams) to get the special badges for Eochai and Jack-in-Irons, as well as going door to door for costume pieces and other festive badges! Groups will be formed by level, so check Guns Chat for more information!

A big grats goes out to both Nancy No Bullets and Sid Delicious as they hit the big 5-0 with their primary characters in Deep Down Trauma Hounds! Way to go gang!!!

Since it's inception, we have generated 10.2m Prestige! With the release of issue 8 in a few weeks, the base will undergo a massive revamp! Some of the new changes will include:

More teleporters with access to all hazard and non-hazard zones.

A raid teleporter will be added for Item of Power raids.

Expanded enhancement and inspiration storage.

There will be plenty of other changes coming with the new release, but these are some of the primary focus. We will be expanding beyond our current base plot, adding additional rooms, decor, and base defenses. The primary focus of these upgrades is to allow us to gain Items of Power for the base. Base raids will not be a focus of these changes, and therefore, base defenses kept at a minimum.

October 18th, 2006

Today starts the Halloween Event! Starting today through Halloween, all of the old badges plus some new ones for the event will be available! During this time, all zones will be locked in perpetual darkness and special contacts have been setup in Croatoa and Nerva! More about the ongoing event can be found here!

What else can we say? Weekend events will be ... hunting the new badges and enjoying the Halloween event! The Sunday Red Alert team will kick off at it's normal time this weekend, but will also be taking time to enjoy the events!

A big grats to the Guns of Paragon super group for unlocking the second healing badge for the super group base! This unlock allows people who use the base hospital to come back with more health and also allows you to sell/buy more from the base Auto-Doc! Way to go Guns!

October 16th, 2006

Issue 8 is alive and well on the Test Server! Faultline is looking more like it's early version of Overbrook again and the zone is full of surprises! If you have test loaded on your system, be sure to check it out!

The Halloween Event starts in two days! Get your fellow heroes together and go knocking on doors to see if you get a Trick or a Treat! More about the upcoming event can be found here!

The Sunday Red Alert Team for yesterday was cancelled, but the event is being planned as normal for this coming Sunday. Despite the cancellation, the weekend was filled with action and lots of missions! Thanks to everyone who joined us this weekend, as we hope to see you this Sunday at the regular time!

Earth Special Forces is proud to announce that we have broke 5 million prestige in the super group! This brings the total net worth to roughly 9.3 million prestige! As soon as Issue 8 goes live, there will be massive changes to the super group base, so be ready for some serious construction!

October 11th, 2006

For those of you in the Guns of Paragon, we will be making another run on the Citadel of Pain to acquire another Item of Power this Thursday! Since a time has not been set for the event, please check the Guns channel. This event is specific to the Guns of Paragon, as the event does not allow for Coalition participation.

Earth Special Forces is getting ready to expand! With the release of Issue 8 comes the base expansion we've been waiting for! Changes will include a raid teleporter and Mission Computer for the Citadel of Pain, plot expansion, Item of Power rooms, and teleporters with capacity to all beacon zones.

Once again, our ISP has changed our Teamspeak address, so if you use the teamspeak server, please update your logon ip to  74.139.100.204 - thanks!
