"About the Owner"

"You don't have to be crazy to work here,  but it sure helps!"

I've had a lot of various hobbies & interest since I was a child. One of the first things I remember was watching the Original Star Trek around 1971, then the cartoon series soon after that. It's hard to believe, but the old show taught people values, and the stories were much better than most of the shows on TV now days. The plots, characters, and environment placed you in another reality, and taught you lessons of every day life in the process. Too bad we don't have more programming that has that same effect on people now. :)

One of the other big things I've really had a knack for over the years was my interest in cars. My first car was a 1968 Plymouth Valliant... I hated that car. :) It was the reason that after 20 years, I've had a total of 99 vehicles. My hobbies includes buying, fixing up & restoring, and then usually reselling all sorts of vehicles from almost any era. If you check the links page, you can see some of my collector cars, including my 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback, which is my current project. Unlike some of the other cars I've had in the past, this one isn't going anywhere once it's done. :)

Acting is something else that I thoroughly enjoy. I started acting in 6th grade, doing plays like "Rumplestiltskin", to plays later in life like "Children of a Lesser God" back in 1988. Although I don't do much for the stage nowadays, I still get my acting urges out by playing games like Champions, AD&D, and other good role-playing games. We also attend about a dozen different Renaissance Fairs and Medieval Gatherings each year. I have several suits of armor, weapons, and equipment from the 1200-1600A.D. realm.

Computers have been my biggest hobby of all. I thank my Grandmother for all her encouragement when I was a child, and helping me to spend many a night at their house writing code for video games and demonstration software when I was growing up. My current job also deals with hardware repair, networking, and troubleshooting for any IBM clone in a DOS/WINDOWS/NOVELL environment. in addition to running the Design Studio.

The biggest thing I've done in the last couple of years is body building. I'm a rank amateur at best, but it has really helped me physically and I feel better about myself, too. My hopes are that I'll be able to bench-press 300lbs by Christmas, 2003, and that's something that I'm going to really shoot for this year.

I also do a lot of Anime artwork and have a great love for the series "Dragonball Z". I have a good collection of artwork that I've put on my DBZ Website that can be viewed under the fan art section, if you care to see what some of them look like. The site is constantly changing, so it's hard to say what I'll have available. :)

Last but not least, I enjoy water and water sports, and would love to do some weather chasing with professionals, just to see what it is really like. The programs like "Nature's Fury" and "Raging Planet" are excellent, but nothing could top the real thing. :)
